John Tran
Founder/Owner
John founded Rainier Pacific Properties in 1986 and assembled the portfolio the firm operates today. In addition to real estate, John’s main profession is in pharmaceuticals. After operating a retail store for 15 years, he expanded his pharmacy into long term care providing a full array of services to skilled nursing, assisted living, and adult family home facilities.

Jonathan Tran
MANAGING BROKER/PRINCIPAL
Jonathan Tran, CCIM leads acquisitions, dispositions, and development partnerships for Rainier Pacific, and oversees asset management across the portfolio — lease negotiation and structuring, capital planning, financing, and lender relationships.
Jonathan was born and raised in Seattle. Before joining Rainier Pacific Properties, Jonathan graduated with a Business degree from the University of Portland, concentrating in Finance and Marketing/Management. He has followed and learned from his father’s successes in Real Estate.
Carrie Hay
Accounting/Controller
Carrie runs the firm’s financial operations: property accounting and budgeting, monthly and annual financial reporting, lease administration, CAM reconciliation, and lender reporting.
Chad Champion
Building Engineer
Chad came from construction management and specializes in roofing, HVAC, and general construction. At Rainier Pacific he oversees facilities maintenance, tenant improvement and capital projects, and vendor management.
